Thank you for that information, I've just bought a domain from namecheap and have whoisguard thrown in with the deal, but I had no idea what it was about, so thanks for clearing that mystery up for me and others.

The Google monopoly is so deeply entrenched at this point that peeving the Googleship off more probably will have limited effect if you want to keep growing with visitors, etc. I know five people just off the top of my head who, if they do a search for something online, if it doesn't come up on the first page of Google they think the thing DOESN'T EXIST. That's how deeply people have been drinking the Google Koolade. Sucks.

To have one company control how the world thinks, finds products, and parses information is really pretty scary.

Both of these worked for me, so I went with the latter to get the 20%:

BTPS7

Thanks!

Great list of plugins!

One point about the Spreadshirt Plugin: I have been using it for about a week, and find it not that great / reliable. It easily gets confused, and personalising it to meet your needs can be difficult.

Just a heads up!

I've collected together a bunch of working discount codes for GoDaddy, they work for godaddy.com and godaddy.co.uk - perfect if you're buying a load of stuff or just the occasional domain. Try these for size:

emma1 = 10% off any order
emma2 = 20% off any order >25GBP
emma3 = any new .com domain for 6.95USD
emma4 = ~25% off any .co.uk domains
emma25 = 25% off any order >50GBP
emma35 = any new .com domain for 3.50GBP

Bear in mind the prices above exclude the small extra charge to ICANN, the webs favourite dubious racketeering outfit :)

Today is July 25, 2008. I just used ZINE3 to renew a .com and it worked. Dropped the price from $9.99 to $6.95.

Thanks.
