What Our Teenagers Can Teach Us

A little Friday fun:
My son turned 16 years old earlier this year and that means: driving, never home, social life takes over, school is a means to network socially–not learn. And he now has his first real girlfriend. He’s blossoming socially. That’s an interesting thing for a mother to deal with.
Here’s an inside [...]

Google’s Pizza Sauce Recipe Scandal

This has to be one of the funniest things SuperAff has been involved with.
So far over 500 people have scooped and downloaded their own copy of the pizza sauce recipe pdf file that documented and captured Google results choking on spam this past weekend (you’ll spot a few at the beginning of the SERPs, [...]

If You’re Reading This - I’m Live

So the new host has worked out great so far with its super fast setup and I had everything moved over in a snap. I upgraded WordPress at the same time–that two birds one stone thing.
I see bloglines is updating my feeds again, that tells me the previous host I was schlubbed onto was blocking [...]

Bloglines Not Updating SuperAff Feed

Not sure if this is a continuation of the hosting problems I’ve been having, but Bloglines hasn’t updated the feeds here since last Friday.
From what I can gather, the hosting business I used for this blog has been sold to another company and that’s bringing whacko problems. That explains the server move a few weeks [...]

They Like ME, They Really Really Like Me!

How’s this for a nice Friday post! A big thanks to the following blogs (and forum) for mentioning SuperAff in a post last month (May).
PS: Now I realize I’m taking a lot of license (or is it licence ?) with the title because linking to SuperAff doesn’t really mean they like me, but…I’m feeling [...]

Hosting Burps

I realize accessing SuperAff has been a coin toss lately. Please hang in there with me.
My host has had a recent personal loss, and at a time there was a big server move. I’m trying to be patient and realistic and just give him space to work this all out. I don’t feel like being [...]

170% Bookmark Rate - How Does That Happen?

Something I can’t figure out and thought I’d post about it here in case anyone else has come across this.
I have a website that for the past several months has been over 100% for bookmarks. I don’t get it. I mean my eyebrows raised when it was 40%-50%, but over a 100%?
Stats from the other [...]

I’ve Updated The About Me Page For SuperAff

I finally sat down and updated the very archaic page I had when I first started this blog.
If you’re interested knowing more about me and this blog and what’s motivating me, here ya go.
You’ll need an extra large coffee while reading–it’s a long one. Hey! I already cut a bunch out ;).

Martha Stewart’s New Blueprint Magazine

I wasn’t kidding when I mentioned awhile ago that I am a Martha Stewart Superfan. But then I think there was no doubt with that personalized autographed picture (it hangs on my home office wall btw).
I just scooped two copies of the premier issue for her new Design Your Life Blueprint Magazine and it [...]
