Affiliate & Webmaster Forums, Tools, Freebies & Blogs

I finally had a chance to clean up the bookmark pages here on SuperAff. Lots more forums and tools added, plus a new page: Affiliate Marketing Blogs List.

Some of the blogs are from lesser known bloggers, but every one of them has something to offer IMO. I hope you find the list useful–it’s nice to follow what other people are doing online and remember that there are regular people just like you and I trying to hammer out their own thing.

I think sometimes we forget that bloggers are real people with goals. They’re striving to share their online experience as well as reach out to their readers and provide some sort of useful information and resources. I hope the link to each of the blogs gives a little boost of encouragement, I know links and hat tips to SuperAff always mean a lot to me.

There are a few well known and industry respected blogs on the list too, I don’t think they’ll even notice my little link to them. But I think they’re a worthwhile read too :).

On the Bookmark Tools page I added some links to domain parking sites, stock photos (most free), more CSS links and other web dev stuff.

On the main Bookmarks page, I cleaned up the dead links and added a few new forums.

I haven’t looked at Article Submissions page yet, so there may be a few dead links in there.

Lots of goodies and watch the pages because there are more to come! Have a great weekend :).

Free Flowchart Software

When a plan or project I’m working on just doesn’t come together in my head, sometimes I like to do some visual brainstorming to tighten things up for myself. Tried a few different options for flowchart software that were either too clunky, too complicated for my taste or stored oneline (not fond of that). Many times I just sit down with pen and paper to scratch it all out.

Here’s something I found that fits the bill perfectly for creating flowcharts: IHMC CmapTools

The CmapTools program empowers users to construct, navigate, share and criticize knowledge models represented as concept maps. It allows users to, among many other features, construct their Cmaps in their personal computer, share them on servers (CmapServers) anywhere on the Internet, link their Cmaps to other Cmaps on servers, automatically create web pages of their concept maps on servers, edit their maps synchronously (at the same time) with other users on the Internet, and search the web for information relevant to a concept map.

The CmapTools client is free for use by anybody, whether its use is commercial or non-commercial.

Platforms: Windows, Mac OSX, Linux (Intel), Solaris (Sparc)

It’s quite easy to use and after playing with it all night I haven’t found anything to complain about.

Bookmarks & Freebies

Haven’t done this for awhile! I’m really behind on my blog reading (months) and bookmark cleaning-up and catching-up, but here are a few goodies for now. Hope you’ll find something useful:

Free Blog Listings At BlueFind

Number 1 on my To Do List when I finally start launching my own commercial products: Offer lotsa lotsa bloggers in that niche freebies. I’ve said it before: You just can’t buy that kinda buzz on ppc.

Internet Marketing Blog – BlueFind Free Listings

If you have a blog want to submit your blog for free, please do. Just, please, submit to the most relevant category.

This is a directory that *does not* accept free submissions, so this is a treat. I submitted over Easter weekend and it only took a couple days to get accepted.

And yeah there’s an interesting backstory to BlueFind, read the article for some of it. I remember as a n00b trying to figure out how a flippin 99% empty directory could have a Google PageRank of 8 (?), while I had websites filled with stuff and only a PR 1 or 2.

That’s when I first discovered Google was being OWNED and I started on my link-love-learning-journey ;).

Enjoy your day!
