I pulled out the new Google Patent the other day to try muddling my way through it (also pulled up Graywolf’s analysis). The domain points kept my attention, but particularly the name server area.
From the patent:

There are three tv shows that I watch faithfully, and one of them is The Apprentice. I shut down the computer and plop myself in front of the television each week to see what I can ‘pick’ from the show, what can I use? I’ve been following this since the first call for help was released a few months ago and it’s very disturbing.

Earlier today Clickbank was under a DDOS attack. Try logging in to Clickbank and you’ll be greeted with this:

You can follow the shenanigans over at Clickbank Success Forum. Things seem to be normal on my end (hoplinks are working and I can login), so the storm may be over now.

One of my goals for this year is to really knuckle down and tackle this script stuff. Sure I can mess with php and customize a *bit*, upload and install script based programs, but that’s where my knowledge ends.
I want to *write* the darn stuff!
